This is the COMPLETE kit of everything you need (except for BOV and any options) to install a Mitsubishi EVO3 16g turbo on your Cobalt SS or HHR SS.  It includes a ported and rotated turbo fitted with a Garrett high boost wastegate actuator, water lines, oil lines, Oxygen Sensor Housing, Manifold Adapter & gasket, and Compressor Outlet Elbow. 

You will also need upper IC pipes (see IC pipes page),  Blow Off Valve (see BOV page), and an Intake Pipe made to fit this turbo (see Intake Pipe page).

480hp(engine) Precision Turbo & Engine 5557 series Ceramic Ball Bearing, Air-Cooled Turbo Kit

This is the COMPLETE kit of everything you need (except for  BOV and any options) to install a ceramic ball bearing,  air cooled (Garrett type) turbo (assembled by Precision Turbo and Engine )on your Cobalt SS or HHR SS.  It includes a ported and rotated turbo fitted with a Garrett high boost wastegate actuator, oil lines, Oxygen Sensor Housing, Manifold Adapter & gasket and Compressor Outlet Elbow.

The Mitsu EVO3 16g is rated at 375hp and DSM-EVO guys have run into the 10’s with it. Boost is all in at 3300 in 3rd gear which is only about 300rpm higher than our factory Borg-Warner turbo.  We take a new turbo and:
1.Port the turbine inlet to match the manifold adapter elbow
2.Port the compressor outlet to gasket match the elbow
3.Drill and tap a pressure outlet fitting
4.Modify a Garrett high boost wastegate actuator
5.Rotate it all to align correctly and re-weld WGA mtg boss
Note: We do not alter the center section from Mitsu's assemby.  But due to the other extensive modifications, Mitsu will not warrant the turbo.   The turbo should be inspected immediately upon receipt according to the check list included. Notify us of any shipping damage.  Once installed it cannot be returned for refund.

The Forced Performance FP68HTA is rated at 430hp.  It receives the same mods and conditions apply as the 16g above.

Turbo Adapter Elbow -Exhaust Manifold to Turbine Housing.  This is the part that makes Mitsu style turbos fit the GM LNF engine. The 2.38" internal diameter of the exhaust manifold is maintained and matches the Mitsu Turbine housings.

 This Oxygen Sensor Housing fits the upgraded turbo to your factory down-pipe or our cat-less down-pipe.  It has the factory bolt pattern and groove for a factory ring seal. We powder-coat it with a high temp coating. Includes one O2 bung in the factory position.
