Cable and Interface Module

We are now an authorized dealer for Trifecta Performance, Inc. and stock their cable and interface module.

MAX Tune - includes the following features

1. "Select-a-Tune" - switch between your present tune (either the original for your car or GM performance tune if you bought it) and a Trifecta  Custom High Performance Tune.  You select the tune either by Turning the Cruise control On/Off or by the Traction Control Switch, even while driving.

2. "Stealth" feature - returns the factory original check sum when requested by a technician.

3. "Infinity Boost" - overcomes the sensor,  table, and duty cycle limits to allow whatever boost you want without limp mode or over-boost. 

4. Disable DTC's and check engine lights (great for going Cat-less).   Raise the rev limit, change AFR, etc.

5. "Customize" - you cannot read or down-load this tune with HP Tuners VCM Suite.  But you can overwrite tables of the High Performance tune with HP Tuners.  (You can reloading your original MAX Tune with the cable and interface module).

BASIC Tune includes all features except "Select-A-Tune".

How To:
1. Purchase the tune below.
2. Send an email with the following info to sales@dejontool.com
Your Name, phone number,  VIN number, list of power mods, trans type, special tune requests
3. We ship you a cable and interface module.   We relay your info to Trifecta.
4. Trifecta emails you their EZ Flash installation software and the MAX tune for your car (set for a mild 2-3psi boost increase).
5. You load the MAX Tune using your computer, the EZ Flash software and Interface cable
6. You datalog a drive of your car under boost with the new tune and email it to Trifecta along with your desired max boost pressure and any special request such as a higher RPM limit.
7. Trifecta analyzes your datalog and modifies your MAX Tune to achieve your custom requests (this may take a few iterations).
8. When you are satisfied you can return the Cable and Interface Module for a refund or keep it.  $200 refund within 45 days of shipment.  $160 refund from 45-90 days.  Not returnable after 90 days (unless agreed in advance)

Minimum computer requirements:  Windows 98SE or Better
400 MHz PC or Laptop, 128 MB of RAM, USB Port.

     We are now selling our own tunes which you can download to your ECM using HP Tuner's VCM suite (see below). Simply email us your stock ECM tune (downloaded with HP tuners software) and we will revise it for your car.  You can install it yourself, drive your car to us, or by anyone with HP tuners editor.  Problems may arise if you try to modify it for a different VIN Code.
    Full credit toward Wester's tune if you decide to upgrade.

Simply email us your stock ECM tune (downloaded with HP tuners software) and we will email you a tune coded for your car.  You can install it yourself or by anyone with HP tuners editor.  Problems will arise if you try to modify it for a different VIN Code.

HP Tuners VCM Suite for GM cars

What can I do to my S/S with the VCM Suite?
1. Monitor sensors and many outputs from the ECU using the "Scanner".  View data generated as the car runs via tables, charts and histograms.  View in real time and record it.
2. Use the "Editor" to change many tables that the ECU uses to control the car, such as:
a. Airflow - tune "MAF Correction" to obtain near 0 short term fuel trims with aftermarket intake pipes.
b. Fuel Control - as you increase boost and airflow thru the engine, you'll want to obtain a constant and safer Air Fuel Ratio by modifying the "Power Enrich Table"
c. Change spark timing vs cam angles, RPM & AFR
d. Change cam lobe angles vs load and RPM
e. Recalibrate your speedometer for changes in tire sizes.
f. Read error codes, clear them, and even set the VCM to ignore them.
g. Now increase boost thru air load tables
h. Raise rev limit.
MODIFY YOUR ECU TO MATCH YOUR MODIFICATIONS, NOT JUST A CANNED TUNE.

What's the difference between the Std And Pro? The Interface.
With the Pro interface, you can integrate 0-5v signals from various sensors such as EGT, Wide Band, fuel pressure and others right into the scanner. You will have real time data from those sensors right next to your standard scan tool data such as TPS, RPM, MPH

The Pro interface also has black box data data-logging of up to 1hr 30mins built in. What this means is you are able to scan your vehicle without the use of a laptop using the interfaces record button. You can then take the interface into your home to transfer the log contents from the interface to the computer.

Fuel Pump Voltage Booster - MSD 2351 (Set Voltage via your PC)



 

 Adding a larger turbo to your engine is a great way to improve the power of your car. But you have to remember that when more air is being pushed into the engine, the need for additional fuel raises proportionally.  Meeting these new fuel demands may require a higher capacity in-tank fuel pump.  This new (low pressure) Fuel Pump Booster is the economical (and easy) answer for your engine's new fuel demands.
    As boost pressure increases in the manifold, the MSD Booster will increase the voltage to the electric fuel pump to maintain the fuel volume. This new model allows you to make your boost adjustments through a PC for improved control and accuracy. The Booster ensures that the engine receives the fuel it needs to make up for the increase in air being pumped into the intake manifold. It will increase the voltage to the factory fuel pump in proportion to manifold boost pressure in order to maintain the proper fuel delivery. The amount of increase is adjustable from a range of an additional 1.5 –22 volts up to 30 psi which can all be set and adjusted from your PC with MSD’s easy to use Windows based software. The MSD Booster will wire to the factory fuel pump relay or with a secondary booster pump.
